LANGTANG VALLEY TREK

Langtang Valley Trek is famous for its stunning snow-capped mountain views, typical Tamang culture, relatively gentle pace, and easy accessibility from Kathmandu. It is the 3rd most visited trekking destination in Nepal beside Everest Base Camp Trek and Annapurna Base Camp Trek. This interesting trip offers great views of the charming village that lies beside the Langtang National Park. The journey would be a great vacation place for experienced and novice trekkers. Most of the people in Langtang Valley follow Tibetan culture as it is a hidden gem with a wild rural landscape. The valley offers trekkers spectacular views of pine forests, rhododendron, snow-capped mountains, and magnificent glaciers during peak season. From Kathmandu valley, Langtang Valley is the closest you can get to the vast snow-capped Mountains. However, Langtang valley starts just north of Kathmandu. Langtang Lirung, the highest peak in the vicinity, dominates the valley. In April 2015, Langtang village was destroyed by the earthquake. However, locals have rebuilt the tea houses and lodges and are open for all kinds of visitors. The trail is off-beat and also completely different from other tourist areas in Nepal. Overall, this is an excellent starting point for the first-time Nepal explorer.
